BTT for 7/9

So i'm going to kinda cheat on my answer!! No way am i digging out boxes and such tonight to take a picture.

So here today I present to you an Unread Books Challenge. Give me the list or take a picture of all the books you have stacked on your bedside table, hidden under the bed or standing in your shelf – the books you have not read, but keep meaning to. The books that begin to weigh on your mind. The books that make you cover your ears in conversation and say, ‘No! Don’t give me another book to read! I can’t finish the ones I have!’

Here's a link to my "To Read" category on Librarything! I have a total of 103 on there. *sigh* I'm really NOT going to buy any more until i get another 20 read. I went on a splurge for my birthday but no more. Seriously!

  1. 103?? wow!! that's a lot.

Lucky my job won't allow me to buy a lot of books o else I ended up with that many to-read books too :)

  2. You've got some great stuff on your list; The Dark is Rising Sequence is one of my all-time favorites. Surely you could whip through that in a day or two!

  3. You haven't read Pride & Prejudice? Well, I guess I haven't read Wuthering Heights, so I shouldn't throw stones...

Some interesting titles on your list. I hope you manage to stick to your "no more new books" commitment. I say that everytime I head to my local library with the kids (then feel guilty about the stack of books I bring home with me).

  6. Scatzi- I just picked up the first 2 books in that series Tuesday. At $1.25 a piece i couldn't resist.

Susan- I have read Pride and Prejudice but not since college. I just bought a copy since i bought the zombie version and wanted to reread.

All- yeah, when i counted up the unread ones a couple months ago i was pretty stunned. i knew i had a few dozen but i would have guessed more like 45 to read, not 100!

  7. Ah, if I really sat down and planned mine out it would look like this! I can NOT go on book buying sprees or I'll just end up with 50 books and then I'll want the rush of buying another book next week. It's a complicated life, it really is. :O) enjoy your reading!
